SMS TERMS

These terms cover text messages (SMS) sent by Wyngward from Wise Owl Collective, a college-planning service of Wise Owl Collective, LLC ("Wise Owl," "we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to these text messages, you agree to these terms.
WHAT WE SEND
Wyngward sends text messages to its customers (independent college consultants and the students and parents they work with) about their Wyngward service. For example: that an updated college list is ready to review, that a list was updated from a student's answers, or that a consultant sent a message. Customers can reply to exchange messages with their consultant. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
HOW YOU OPT IN
You opt in only inside your private, sign-in-protected Wyngward portal. In Settings > Notifications, you check the box "Send me text messages about my college list and messages from my consultant," enter your mobile number, and confirm it with a one-time code we text you. Texts begin only after you enter the code. The box stays unchecked until you check it, and consent is not a condition of purchase. We never buy, rent, share or import phone numbers.
MESSAGE FREQUENCY AND COST
Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
HOW TO OPT OUT OR GET HELP
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We will send one confirmation and then no further texts. Reply START to subscribe again. Reply HELP for help, or contact us through wiseowlcollective.com/contact. You can also turn text messages off in your portal settings at any time.
CARRIERS
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
PRIVACY
We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above. We do not sell or share mobile numbers, or text-messaging opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share your number only with the service providers that deliver our messages. Our Privacy Policy at wiseowlcollective.com/privacy-policy explains how we handle personal information.
Messages you exchange with your Wyngward consultant, by text or in your Wyngward portal, are analyzed automatically, including by AI models, only to suggest updates to your own college list to your consultant. They are never used for anyone else's recommendations or to train AI models, and no one at Wise Owl reads them in normal operations.

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the current version.
